Basic Operation
The DEA Range of Elram Electro-Hydraulic Actuators operates on a simple ‘Bi-directional motor’ principle.
Rotation of the motor causes the actuator to extend or to retract. When the motor is not running the actuator is stationary.
- The actuator may be stopped in any position
- Various hydraulic circuit configurations are available
- Fully-sealed housing
- Solenoid-operated versions are available for applications requiring high-frequency or modulating duty
- "Locked" or "Free-to-move" configurations are available when the motor is running
